Neco Shay Williams
Neco Shay Williams is a Welsh right-back, born in Wrexham on 13 April 2001. He joined Liverpool’s academy as a child after beginning at Cefn United, initially playing as a striker before moving into defence during his development. Williams progressed through Liverpool’s system and made his senior debut in a 2019 League Cup match against Arsenal. He was part of Liverpool squads that won the Premier League, FIFA Club World Cup and EFL Cup while competing for opportunities at right-back. In January 2022, he joined Fulham on loan and helped the club win the Championship. Williams transferred to Nottingham Forest in July 2022, where he has operated on both flanks and developed into a versatile full-back. At international level, he represents Wales and helped them reach the 2022 FIFA World Cup, adding experience to his club career.
