Facundo Nahuel Tenaglia

Facundo Nahuel Tenaglia is an Argentine defender who plays primarily at right-back and can also operate centrally. Born in Saladillo on 21 February 1996, he developed in Argentina before beginning his senior career with Atlanta, where he debuted in 2016. In August 2017, Tenaglia joined Talleres Córdoba and made his top-flight debut later that year. He became a regular for Talleres, scoring his first professional goal against Independiente in 2019. In January 2022, he moved to Deportivo Alavés on an initial loan and helped the Spanish club in its promotion campaign. Alavés subsequently made the move permanent in August 2023, and Tenaglia has continued to provide defensive depth and positional flexibility. His game is built on proactive tackling, interceptions and recovery work, while his ability to play at centre-back has broadened his role in Spain.
