Nikita Stepanov

Nikita Stepanov is a Belarusian defender born on April 6, 1996, in Smolevichi. He began his senior career with hometown club Smolevichi-STI, playing there from 2013 to 2017. In 2017, Stepanov moved to Luch Minsk, initially on loan before making the switch permanent, and he reached the Belarusian Premier League. He then played for Dnyapro Mogilev in 2019, followed by spells with Torpedo-BelAZ Zhodino and Neman Grodno during 2020–21. At Isloch Minsk Raion from 2021 to 2022, he established himself as a regular left-sided defender. In 2023, he moved abroad to FC Atyrau in Kazakhstan, making 47 appearances across two seasons. Stepanov made his Belarus debut against Bulgaria on February 26, 2020, playing the full match in a 1–0 victory. He now represents Dinamo Brest, where his centre-back role reflects the defensive position listed in his profile.
