Nicolas Seiwald

Nicolas Seiwald is an Austrian central midfielder born in Kuchl on 4 May 2001. He joined Red Bull Salzburg’s academy in 2009 and progressed through the club’s youth system before making his professional debut for FC Liefering in 2019. Seiwald then made his Red Bull Salzburg first-team debut in November 2020, establishing himself in midfield during a successful spell with the Austrian club. He helped Salzburg win three consecutive Austrian Bundesliga titles and two Austrian Cups. In October 2022, Seiwald scored his first Champions League goal in a 1–1 draw with Dinamo Zagreb. He moved to RB Leipzig in July 2023, continuing the Salzburg-to-Leipzig pathway at Bundesliga level. Internationally, Seiwald represents Austria, adding central midfield energy and defensive discipline to the national side.
