Nicolò Rovella

Nicolò Rovella is an Italian midfielder from Segrate who developed with Accademia Inter and Alcione before joining Genoa’s academy in 2017. He made his senior Genoa debut in the 2019–20 season, appearing first in the Coppa Italia and then in Serie A. Juventus signed Rovella in January 2021, while he remained with Genoa on loan until June 2022. He then joined Monza on loan for the 2022–23 season, making 28 appearances and scoring his first professional goal against Torino. After making his Juventus debut in August 2022, he moved to Lazio on loan in August 2023, with the transfer later becoming permanent. At Lazio, Rovella has increasingly operated as a deep-lying midfielder, using short passing, positioning and pressing to support build-up and regain possession. He represented Italy at Under-21 level from 2020 and made his senior debut in November 2024.
