Nicolas Thierry Raskin

Nicolas Thierry Raskin is a Belgian central midfielder born in Liège on 23 February 2001. He developed at Standard Liege, moved to Gent in 2017, and made his senior debut for Gent in February 2018. The appearance, in a 3–0 win over Sint-Truiden, made him the first player born in the 21st century to play in the Belgian Pro League. Raskin returned to Standard Liege in January 2019, where he established himself over four seasons and made 96 appearances. In January 2023, he transferred to Rangers, taking on central and defensive midfield duties. His work at Rangers helped the club win the 2023–24 League Cup, the first major trophy of his career. Raskin made his senior Belgium debut against Ukraine in March 2025 and has since remained involved with the national team.
