Nikolas Polster

Nikolas Polster is an Austrian goalkeeper born on 7 July 2002. He began his football development at SK Rapid Wien, joining the club’s academy in 2009 and progressing through its youth ranks before making his reserve-team debut in the Austrian Regionalliga in 2018. In June 2020, Polster moved to LASK Linz, where he continued his development through loan spells with FC Juniors OÖ, Vorwärts Steyr and SV Horn. Those assignments gave him regular experience in Austria’s professional leagues, including 26 appearances for SV Horn in 2023–24. Polster joined Wolfsberger AC in July 2024 and established himself as the club’s starting goalkeeper. During the 2024–25 season, he helped Wolfsberger win the ÖFB Cup, the club’s first major trophy, and was named Austrian Bundesliga Best Goalkeeper. He has also represented Austria at youth level and received a senior call-up in 2025.
