Nikola Moro

Nikola Moro is a Croatian midfielder born in Split on 12 March 1998. He joined Dinamo Zagreb’s academy at 11 and entered the senior setup as a teenager, making his league debut in May 2016 before appearing in the Champions League later that year. Moro helped Dinamo win domestic league and cup honours after returning from an ACL injury sustained with Croatia Under-21s in March 2018. In August 2020, he transferred to Dynamo Moscow, where he developed a more disciplined central-midfield role and became increasingly influential in building play from deep. He moved to Bologna on loan in August 2022, and the transfer was made permanent in July 2023. At Bologna, Moro combines passing range and tempo control with positional discipline, ball-winning and defensive coverage. He has represented Croatia at youth level and made his senior debut in March 2022.
