Nahuel Molina Lucero

Nahuel Molina Lucero is an Argentine right-back whose attacking runs have become a defining part of his game. Born in Embalse in 1998, he developed at Club Náutico Fitz Simon and Proyecto Crecer before joining Boca Juniors’ youth system in 2012. Molina made his Boca first-team debut in 2016, then gained senior experience with Defensa y Justicia and Rosario Central, where he recorded 22 appearances. In September 2020, he moved to Udinese on a free transfer and scored seven Serie A goals during the 2021–22 season, an exceptional return for a defender. His performances earned a move to Atlético Madrid, where his pace and willingness to overlap suit a modern wide role. Molina also became an important Argentina international, scoring against the Netherlands at the 2022 World Cup and helping the team win that tournament, the 2021 and 2024 Copa América titles, and the 2022 Finalissima.
