Nathanaël Mbuku

Nathanaël Mbuku is a French midfielder born on 16 March 2002 in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges. He developed in the Paris region before joining the Reims academy in 2017. Mbuku signed his first professional contract with Reims in 2018 and made his Ligue 1 debut in August 2019. During the 2020–21 season, he made 32 appearances and scored four goals for Reims, including an overhead-kick finish against Montpellier in October 2020. In January 2023, he moved to FC Augsburg, then returned to France on loan with Saint-Étienne a year later, helping the club win promotion with four goals in 21 appearances. Mbuku subsequently spent time with Dinamo Zagreb before returning to Augsburg. He represented France through under-23 level, played at the 2020 Olympics, and later became involved with the DR Congo national team.
