Noussair Mazraoui
Noussair Mazraoui is a Moroccan right-back who was born in Leiderdorp, Netherlands, on 14 November 1997. He began at AVV Alphen and Alphense Boys before joining Ajax’s youth academy in 2006. After making his professional debut for Jong Ajax in 2016, Mazraoui established himself in Ajax’s first team by the 2018–19 season. His development in Amsterdam led to a place in the side that reached the 2019 Champions League semi-finals. In 2022, he moved to Bayern Munich on a free transfer and won the Bundesliga during his first season. Mazraoui joined Manchester United in August 2024, returning to work with former Ajax coach Erik ten Hag and adding defensive versatility to the squad. At international level, he represents Morocco, helping the Atlas Lions become the first African team to reach a World Cup semi-final in 2022.
