Nicolás Federico López Alonso
Nico López attacks space, makes runs beyond the line, and cuts inside from the right to threaten finishes. Nico López broke through at Nacional before moving to AS Roma in 2012. At Roma he developed dribbling and pace, then flourished at Internacional from 2016 to 2019. Nico López earned the U-20 World Cup Silver Ball in 2013, while Uruguay reached the final, and he accumulated 130+ appearances with 33 goals for Internacional. A turning point came with the Liga MX Golden Boot in 2021 with Tigres UANL. Back at Nacional López presses high, pins centre-backs, and links play to create quick counters. Nico López remains a right winger who checks short then spins in behind to finish moves.
