Nicolas Lemaître

Nicolas Lemaître is a French goalkeeper born in Reims on 12 January 1997. He developed in the Reims academy and made his professional debut for the club in a Ligue 2 match against Sochaux in February 2017. Lemaître signed his first professional contract with Reims later that year and was part of the squad that won the 2017–18 Ligue 2 title and promotion to Ligue 1. Seeking regular football, he joined Quevilly on loan in June 2020 before the move became permanent in July 2021. His next recorded club was Estac Troyes, where he established himself as a Ligue 2 goalkeeper. At 1.89 metres, Lemaître offers a strong physical presence in goal and has been described as proactive away from his line. He is listed with Rennes in the current squad references.
