Nicolas Kocik
Nicolas Kocik is a French goalkeeper, born in Maubeuge on 4 August 1998. He developed in the northern French system before joining Valenciennes’ youth setup in 2013. Kocik progressed through Valenciennes’ reserve side and made his senior debut for the club in a Coupe de la Ligue match against Ajaccio on 13 August 2019. He later moved to SO Cholet on loan for the 2021–22 Championnat National season, gaining first-team experience. In July 2022, he joined Le Mans FC on a free transfer and continued his senior career in France. At 1.93 metres, Kocik offers a substantial presence in goal, with a profile combining traditional goal-line work and increasing involvement outside the area. He was a member of France’s under-17 squad that won the UEFA European Under-17 Championship in 2015 and remains associated with Le Mans.
