Nicolas Hasler

Nicolas Hasler is a Liechtenstein central midfielder born in Vaduz on 4 May 1991. A right-footed player, he developed at FC Triesen and FC Balzers before beginning his senior career with Balzers in 2009 and then representing USV Eschen/Mauren. Hasler made his Liechtenstein debut against Iceland in August 2010, establishing an international career that later saw him become a regular captain and pass 100 appearances. He joined FC Vaduz in 2011 and helped the club win promotion to the Swiss Super League in 2014 while also contributing to Liechtensteiner Cup success. In 2017, Hasler moved to Toronto FC and was part of the team that won the MLS Cup, Supporters’ Shield and Canadian Championship. He subsequently played for Chicago Fire, Sporting Kansas City and FC Thun, before returning to FC Vaduz in 2022. At Vaduz, he continues to combine central midfield duties with positional versatility.
