Nikita Haikin

Nikita Haikin is a goalkeeper born in Netanya, Israel, on 11 July 1995. He moved to Moscow as a child before continuing his football education in England, where he spent time with Chelsea, Portsmouth and Reading. Unable to establish himself professionally in Britain, he later played for Nacional in Portugal, Marbella in Spain, and Russia’s Mordovia Saransk and Kuban Krasnodar. Haikin made his professional debut for Bnei Yehuda in Israel in 2017 and subsequently represented Hapoel Kfar Saba. He joined Bodø/Glimt in 2019, developing into an established goalkeeper and helping the club win league titles in 2020 and 2021. A brief move to Bristol City in early 2023 brought no first-team appearance, and Haikin returned to Bodø/Glimt later that year. In April 2025, he saved two penalties in the shootout against Lazio as Bodø/Glimt reached a major European semifinal, while his Russia youth career was followed by senior call-ups but no full cap.
