Nicola Gori

Nicola Gori is an Italian defender born on 8 May 1997. His early senior path included Savignanese in Italy before he moved to Virtus in July 2021. At Virtus, Gori has primarily operated at right-back while also providing cover at centre-back and left-back. His versatility has made him a regular defensive option for the Sammarinese club. Gori gained European experience in Virtus’s UEFA qualifying campaigns, playing in the 2024–25 Champions League and Conference League qualification rounds and featuring against Flora Tallinn, Milsami Orhei and Breidablik. In July 2024, he completed 120 minutes against Flora, while his later appearances included demanding ties against Milsami and Breidablik in the following campaign. These European appearances represent the clearest recent stage of Nicola Gori’s career.
