Niko Galešić

Niko Galešić is a Croatian centre-back who was born in Berlin, Germany, on 26 March 2001. He began playing with Lichterfelder FC before joining Hertha BSC’s academy in 2011, where he developed until 2018. In 2019, Galešić moved to Croatia and joined HNK Rijeka, beginning the senior phase of his career. He was part of Rijeka’s squad that won the Croatian Cup in 2019–20. Rijeka loaned him to Hrvatski Dragovoljac in early 2022, giving him an opportunity to gain regular playing experience before his return. On 10 January 2025, he transferred to Dinamo Zagreb, where he continues to play in central defence. Galešić has also represented Croatia at under-21 level, including at the 2023 European Under-21 Championship, and is described as a ball-playing defender capable of contributing to build-up play.
