Nicolò Fagioli

Nicolò Fagioli is an Italian midfielder born in Piacenza on 12 February 2001. He developed in the youth systems of Piacenza and Cremonese before joining Juventus in 2015, progressing through the Turin club’s academy. In 2021, Juventus loaned him to Cremonese, where he helped the Serie B side earn promotion to the top flight. Fagioli returned to Juventus for the 2022–23 season and established himself in the first team, scoring against Lecce and Inter. His performances earned him the Serie A Best Under-23 Player award that season. After receiving a seven-month ban for breaching betting rules in 2023, Fagioli completed therapy and returned to action in May 2024. He was included in Italy’s Euro 2024 squad, then moved to Fiorentina on loan in February 2025, where he has operated as a central midfielder able to control possession and progress the ball.
