Nahuel Estévez Álvarez

Nahuel Estévez Álvarez is an Argentine defensive midfielder from Buenos Aires, born on 14 November 1995. He began his senior career with Comunicaciones in 2014, developing in Argentina’s lower divisions before establishing himself as a regular. In 2017, Estévez joined Estudiantes de La Plata and was loaned to Sarmiento, gaining further experience in the Argentine second tier. He later returned to Estudiantes and continued his progression in the Primera División. In September 2020, he moved to Italy on loan with Spezia, making his debut against Parma and adapting to a more tactical midfield environment. A subsequent loan at Crotone added to his Italian experience, before he joined Parma permanently in July 2022. Estévez is now listed with Palermo, where his ball-winning, positional discipline and ability to shield the defence remain central to his profile.
