Niclas Eliasson Santana

Niclas Eliasson Santana is a Swedish professional midfielder who operates primarily on the right. Born in Varberg on 7 December 1995, he developed in Sweden before joining AIK Stockholm in 2014. He later moved to IFK Norrköping, where his crossing and chance creation established him as an influential wide player. In 2017, Eliasson transferred to Bristol City, beginning a three-year spell in the English Championship. He then continued his career in France with Nîmes, scoring twice in a notable away win at Marseille in January 2021. Eliasson joined AEK Athens in 2022 and helped the club win the Greek Super League and Greek Cup double in 2022–23. A left-footed wide midfielder, Niclas Eliasson is noted for accurate delivery, set-piece quality and the ability to contribute from either a traditional or more advanced flank role. He made his Sweden senior debut against Denmark in June 2024.
