Nosa Iyobosa Edokpolor

Nosa Iyobosa Edokpolor is an Austrian defender born in Benin City, Nigeria, who developed his game in Austria. He began with SV Glanegg in 2004 and joined FC St. Veit two years later, making his senior debut for the club in the Kärntner Liga in 2012. In 2014–15, Edokpolor spent a season on loan with Palermo’s Primavera side before returning to Austria and entering Wolfsberger AC II’s setup. He continued his rise with SV Horn from 2016, then moved to Blau-Weiß Linz in 2018. His Austrian breakthrough came in 2020, when he joined Rheindorf Altach and stepped into Bundesliga football. After a late-2024 spell with Dinamo Tbilisi in Georgia, he moved to Kauno Žalgiris in February 2025. Primarily a left-back, Edokpolor has also been used as a central defender, contributing through positioning, duels and recovery work. His path from regional Austrian football to top-flight and Baltic competition reflects a defender who has adapted across leagues and roles.
