Nicolás Martín Domínguez
Nicolás Martín Domínguez is an Argentine central midfielder born in Buenos Aires on 28 June 1998. He developed in Vélez Sarsfield’s youth system and made his senior debut for the club in March 2017. In August 2019, Domínguez moved to Bologna, initially remaining at Vélez on loan before joining the Italian club. His performances in Serie A helped establish him in European football. Domínguez made his Argentina debut against Chile in September 2019 and was part of the squad that won the 2021 Copa América, making two appearances in the tournament. He joined Nottingham Forest in September 2023 in a deal involving Remo Freuler and scored his first Premier League goal against Brentford the following month. At Forest, Domínguez operates centrally, contributing through pressing, compact defensive work and quick link play in midfield.
