Yacouba Nasser Djiga

Yacouba Nasser Djiga is a Burkina Faso defender, born in Bobo-Dioulasso on 15 November 2002. Standing 1.87 metres, Djiga developed in his homeland before moving to FC Basel 1893 in June 2021. He gained experience in France with Nîmes during the 2022–23 season, then joined FK Crvena Zvezda in 2023. At the Belgrade club, he became part of a league-and-cup double-winning team and received its Best Young Player award. His performances in the UEFA Champions League preceded a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers in February 2025. Djiga subsequently spent the 2025–26 season with Rangers, adding Scottish football to his European experience, and is listed with Wolves. He has also been involved with Burkina Faso at youth and senior level, continuing his progression into international football.
