Nikola Braunović

Nikola Braunović is a Montenegrin midfielder born on 21 July 1997. He developed in Montenegro and made early senior appearances with Bokelj, beginning the first stage of his professional career there. Between 2016 and 2019, Braunović became a regular for the Kotor club, including a substantial 2017/18 campaign in the Montenegrin second tier. In 2019, he moved to Malta, representing Senglea Athletics, Mosta and Balzan. Balzan provided his most sustained spell there from 2022 to 2024, while he also gained experience in UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying. Braunović then joined North Macedonian side Sileks for the 2024/25 season, where his role included work in central defence. In August 2025, he returned home to join Dečić, and he remains part of the club’s current squad. As a midfielder with experience deeper on the pitch, Nikola Braunović offers a career shaped by movement across three football countries.
