Nikita Baranov

Nikita Baranov is an Estonian defender born in Tallinn on 19 August 1992. He developed in Estonia before joining Flora Tallinn in 2010, where he made his top-flight debut that August and established himself in the club’s senior defence. Baranov helped Flora win the Meistriliiga in 2011 and 2015, gaining experience in domestic title races and European qualification. In 2017, he moved abroad and continued his career through clubs in Norway, Bulgaria and Armenia before joining Pyunik Yerevan. With Pyunik, Baranov won league titles in 2021–22 and 2023–24, adding major honours to his domestic success. He later returned to Estonia with Paide, bringing continental experience to his new club. Baranov made his Estonia senior debut against Georgia in 2015 and has represented the national team across European qualification campaigns.
