Nedim Bajrami

Nedim Bajrami is an attacking midfielder born in Zürich, Switzerland, on 28 February 1999. He developed at Grasshoppers, progressing through the club’s youth categories before making his professional debut in 2017 and establishing himself in the Swiss Super League. In August 2019, Bajrami moved to Empoli, initially on loan, and helped the club win the 2020–21 Serie B title and gain promotion. He then became a regular in Serie A, scoring against prominent opposition including AC Milan and Roma. Bajrami joined Sassuolo in 2023 before moving to Rangers in 2024, where he scored on his Europa League debut against Malmö. Internationally, he represented Switzerland through under-21 level before switching allegiance to Albania in 2021. At UEFA Euro 2024, Bajrami scored against Italy after 23 seconds, the fastest goal in the tournament’s history, and he later continued his club career with Al Taawon.
