Noah Atubolu

Noah Atubolu is a German goalkeeper born in Freiburg im Breisgau on 25 May 2002. He began as a centre-back with Sportfreunde Eintracht Freiburg and Freiburger FC before moving into goal, an early change that helped shape his confidence in possession. Atubolu joined SC Freiburg’s academy at under-14 level in 2015 and progressed through the club’s youth teams. He also developed with SC Freiburg II, featuring from 2020 to 2023 and being part of the reserve side’s promotion to the 3. Liga. In 2021, he received the bronze Fritz Walter Medal in the under-19 category. After Mark Flekken’s departure in 2023, Atubolu was entrusted with Freiburg’s Bundesliga goalkeeping role and made 34 league appearances in his first season, keeping 10 clean sheets. He has also represented Germany at under-21 level, including the team that finished runner-up at the 2025 European Under-21 Championship, and remains with SC Freiburg.
