Nayef Aguerd
Nayef Aguerd is a Moroccan centre-back born in Kénitra on 30 March 1996. He developed at the Mohammed VI Football Academy before beginning his professional career with FUS Rabat, where he won the Moroccan league title in 2016. Aguerd moved to France with Dijon in 2018 and later established himself at Rennes, where his defensive work and aerial ability drew wider attention. In 2022, he joined West Ham United and continued his development in the Premier League. Aguerd represented Morocco at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, helping the team reach the semi-finals during a historic defensive campaign. He subsequently spent time with Real Sociedad before moving to Marseille, his current club. Comfortable defending centrally and contributing to build-up play, Aguerd offers height, positioning and experience across domestic and international football.
