Narek Aghasaryan
Narek Aghasaryan is an Armenian defensive midfielder who developed in the FC Urartu academy. From 2019 to 2021, he spent two seasons on loan at BKMA Yerevan before returning to Urartu on 21 June 2021. He established himself in Urartu’s midfield and helped the club win the Armenian Premier League and Armenian Cup in 2022/23, making 31 league appearances during the title campaign. Aghasaryan reached 100 Armenian Premier League appearances on 23 October 2024. He has represented Armenia at under-19 and under-21 level, recording 19 U19 and 12 U21 caps. After receiving his first senior call-up in November 2023, he made his Armenia debut against Portugal in a 2026 World Cup qualifier on 6 September 2025. Aghasaryan has also been used at right-back, combining defensive positioning with secure possession recycling.
