Michael Collodi

Michael Collodi is an American goalkeeper born in Plano, Texas, on May 25, 2001. He began playing in goal at seven and moved from Solar SC to the FC Dallas Academy in 2015. Collodi received call-ups to the United States under-14 and under-16 youth national teams during his academy development. At Columbia University, he became an immediate starter in 2019, earned Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors and finished his career second in program history with 237 saves. He captained Columbia as a senior in 2023. North Texas SC signed him in January 2024, and he helped the club win the MLS NEXT Pro Cup while earning the league's Goalkeeper of the Year award and a Best XI selection. On January 9, 2025, Collodi became FC Dallas's 40th Homegrown player and made his MLS debut in a 1–0 win over Real Salt Lake, making four saves for a clean sheet.
