Micael dos Santos Silva

Micael, a Brazilian defender, was born in Presidente Prudente on 12 August 2000. Standing 190 centimetres, he plays primarily as a centre-back. He developed with Inter de Limeira before moving to Independente de Limeira in 2019. In July that year, Atlético-MG took him on loan for its under-20 setup, and he helped the team win the 2020 Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-20 title. Atlético-MG made the move permanent in 2020, and Micael made his first-team debut against Grêmio in a Série A match in December 2021. Seeking regular senior minutes, he joined Houston Dynamo in April 2022, initially playing for Houston Dynamo 2. He made his MLS debut in August 2022, then helped Houston win the 2023 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and reach the Western Conference Final, while contributing left-footed distribution and defensive work. After transferring to Palmeiras in February 2025, Micael joined Inter Miami on loan and continued his development.
