Merchas Ghazi Salih Doski

Merchas Doski is an Iraqi midfielder born in Hannover on 7 December 1999. He developed in German regional football before earning a move to Austria, where he joined Wacker Innsbruck and also appeared for Wacker Innsbruck (Am). In 2022, after representing Iraq at the AFC U-23 Asian Cup, Doski moved to Czech club 1. FC Slovácko. There, he progressed from a developing prospect into a regular first-team player, contributing from the left side while also operating in midfield. On 19 December 2024, he signed for Viktoria Plzeň, taking the next step in his Central European career. Doski has since gained European experience with Plzeň, including Europa League involvement, while continuing to represent Iraq internationally. His path from regional football to the Czech top flight reflects a versatile midfielder who can provide width, defensive work and forward support.
