Marcos Robson Cipriano

Marquinhos Cipriano, whose full name is Marcos Robson Cipriano, is a Brazilian defender from Catanduva, born in 1999. He developed at Desportivo Brasil before joining São Paulo in 2015, initially playing as a forward or winger. In 2016, he finished as the Campeonato Paulista Under-17’s leading scorer with 21 goals. Cipriano moved to Shakhtar Donetsk in July 2018, where he won two Ukrainian Premier League titles and a Ukrainian Cup while beginning a transition to left-back. He then spent the 2021–22 season on loan at FC Sion, making 33 appearances, before helping Cruzeiro win Brazil’s Série B during a 2022 loan. Spells with Avaí and Omonia Nicosia followed, with two goals recorded for Omonia. Marquinhos Cipriano returned to Sion permanently in August 2024 and now operates primarily at left-back or wing-back.
