Marquinhos speeds at space on the flank, attacking the channels and pulling runs beyond the line. Marquinhos began as a professional at Bangu in March 2018. He builds pace through motion. He debuted in Série A with Sport Recife in August 2020. Marquinhos scored his first Série A goal in September 2020 against Goiás. The switch to APOEL Nicosia in July 2022 marked a new attacking phase. Marquinhos, now wearing number 10, extended his APOEL deal in May 2024. He finishes moves from the left flank, driving at defenders and timing runs to get shots off quickly.
