Marcos Lavín Rodríguez

Marcos Lavín Rodríguez is a Spanish goalkeeper born in Madrid on 2 September 1996. He developed in Real Madrid’s La Fábrica before leaving the club in February 2016 to pursue senior opportunities. Lavín then spent time with UD Logroñés reserves and Atlético Saguntino in Segunda División B, where he was primarily a backup. He joined Córdoba CF, initially playing for the B team before reaching the senior squad for the 2018–19 campaign. Lavín made his professional debut in Córdoba’s 4–1 Copa del Rey win over Elche on 16 October 2018 and later appeared in a 4–2 Segunda División victory against Extremadura. After Córdoba’s relegation, he represented Getafe B and FC Voluntari in Romania before returning to Spain. His later clubs included Atlético Saguntino, Algeciras and CD Lugo, where he made 30 appearances in 2024–25, and he is now registered with Academico Viseu.
