Marc Vicente Vidal Girona
Marc Vidal is a Spanish goalkeeper born in Vila-real on 14 February 2000. He developed in Villarreal’s youth system and made his senior debut for Villarreal C in 2017, later moving into the club’s reserve structure. In 2021, Vidal joined Betis Deportivo, where he shared goalkeeping duties in Spain’s third tier. He moved to FC Andorra in 2022 and made his professional debut in the Copa del Rey against Levante in December that year. During the 2023–24 season, he joined Barcelona Atlètic on loan and made 25 appearances, including promotion play-off matches. Celta Vigo signed Marc Vidal in 2024, and he subsequently entered the first-team setup while also featuring in the club’s reserve pathway. At 1.85 metres, he combines traditional goalkeeping work with a reportedly composed approach to distribution and proactive defensive positioning.
