Armando Sosa Peña

Armando Sosa Peña, known as Mandi, is a Spanish midfielder born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on 1 March 1989. He developed in the Canary Islands with UD San Fernando, CD Maspalomas and UD Vecindario, making his senior debut for the latter in 2007. In 2008, Mandi joined Villarreal’s C and B teams and later helped SD Ponferradina win promotion to Segunda División during a loan spell. Real Madrid signed him for Castilla in July 2010, and he again experienced promotion to Spain’s second tier. He made his professional debut for Sporting de Gijón in September 2012, then continued in LaLiga 2 with Elche and UD Almería. Mandi moved abroad to Wellington Phoenix in 2018 and ATK in 2019, helping the Indian club win the ISL. He later joined Lincoln Red Imps, where he remains a midfield presence in Gibraltar.
