Mihail Ștefan

Mihail Ștefan is a Moldovan defender who developed in the country’s youth system and began his senior career with Real Succes. He joined Sfîntul Gheorghe in February 2021, moving into senior football and helping the club win the 2020/2021 Cupa Moldovei and the 2021/2022 Moldovan Super Cup. On 9 July 2023, Mihail Ștefan signed for Zimbru Chișinău, where he developed in a demanding domestic setting. At Zimbru, he was described as a centre-back who could also operate as a sweeper. His international progression brought a senior Moldova debut in a 1–1 draw with Estonia on 14 October 2025, followed by appearances in World Cup qualifying. He also faced Italy and appeared against Lithuania and Cyprus in the 2026 qualification campaign.
