Marko Đukanović

Marko Đukanović is a Montenegrin football defender born in Nikšić on 22 October 1996. He developed through the domestic game and represented Zeta before continuing his career with other Montenegrin clubs. On 2 July 2024, Đukanović joined Sutjeska, returning to his hometown club and taking on a role in its defensive unit. Primarily a centre-back, he can also operate as a defensive midfielder when a more physical presence is needed in front of the defence. His game is built around positioning, physical duels and defending aerial situations, while his experience has been gathered across Montenegro’s league system. Đukanović was involved with Sutjeska in the 2025–26 UEFA Conference League qualifiers, including the tie against Beitar Jerusalem. He remains part of Sutjeska’s squad, linking his local roots with senior domestic and European football.
