Miha Zajc

Miha Zajc

Miha Zajc is a Slovenian central midfielder born on 1 July 1994 in Šempeter pri Gorici. He developed at Interblock Ljubljana and made his senior debut in 2012, later gaining experience with Olimpija Ljubljana and Celje. Returning to Olimpija, Zajc helped the club win the 2015–16 Slovenian PrvaLiga title. In January 2017, he joined Empoli, where he adapted to Italian football and contributed to the club’s promotion from Serie B in 2017–18. Zajc moved to Fenerbahçe in 2019, and a later loan at Genoa gave him further Serie A experience. At Fenerbahçe, he was part of the squad that won the 2022–23 Turkish Cup. He spent the 2024–25 season on loan with Toulouse before joining Dinamo Zagreb in 2025. Zajc has represented Slovenia internationally, combining attacking instincts with an ability to progress the ball and connect midfield with attack.
