Marius Wolf

Marius Wolf is a German defender born in Coburg on 27 May 1995. He developed as an attacking wide player before moving into a more defensive role on the flank. After beginning his senior career elsewhere, Wolf joined Hannover 96 in 2016. He then moved to Eintracht Frankfurt in 2017, becoming an energetic contributor and helping the club win the DFB-Pokal in 2018. Borussia Dortmund signed Wolf that summer, and he later spent loan spells with Hertha BSC and 1. FC Köln before returning to Dortmund. Over this period, Wolf increasingly operated as a right-back or wing-back while retaining his ability to support attacks with crossing and running. He made his Germany debut in 2023, adding senior international recognition to his club career. Wolf joined FC Augsburg in 2024, continuing his career as a versatile defensive option.
