Mathieu Villette
Mathieu Villette is a French forward born on 20 October 2000. He began playing with OC Châteaudun before joining Chartres Horizon in 2014, later remaining with C’Chartres Football after its 2018 merger. Villette developed with Chartres II and scored nine goals in 14 matches during the 2022/23 season, earning opportunities with the senior side in National 2. In 2023, he moved to Tours FC, where he made 26 appearances and established himself as a regular starter. He then joined La Roche VF, scoring 16 league goals in National 2 during the 2024/25 campaign while strengthening his reputation as a reliable finisher. Bordeaux signed Villette in July 2025, adding a forward whose progression has taken him from regional football through the French lower divisions to one of the country’s historic clubs.
