Michael Robin Verrips

Michael Robin Verrips is a Dutch goalkeeper born in Velp on 3 December 1996. He developed at SV Grol, FC Twente, Vitesse and PSV Eindhoven before returning to Twente, where he signed his first professional contract in 2014. Verrips moved to Sparta Rotterdam in 2016 and later spent time on loan at MVV Maastricht, playing every league match during the 2017–18 Eerste Divisie season. In 2018–19, he joined KV Mechelen and helped win the Belgian second tier and Belgian Cup, including the cup-final victory over Gent. That success earned him a move to Sheffield United in 2019, although opportunities were limited before loans to FC Emmen and Fortuna Sittard. He subsequently spent two seasons on loan at FC Groningen and returned to Fortuna in January 2024. Verrips is currently listed with NAC Breda, continuing a career across Dutch and Belgian football.
