Moris Valinčić

Moris Valinčić is a Croatian defender who operates primarily at right-back. Born on 17 November 2002, he developed in HNK Rijeka’s academy before spending time with Opatija and entering Dinamo Zagreb’s youth setup in 2018. In 2021, Valinčić continued his senior development with Neretvanac Opuzen in Croatia’s lower divisions. He then moved to Široki Brijeg, where he established himself in senior football during the 2022–23 season. A subsequent spell with Istra 1961 from 2023 to 2025 brought regular experience in the Croatian top flight. Dinamo Zagreb brought him back in July 2025, completing a return to the club’s senior structure. Valinčić’s profile is that of a position-aware full-back who supports build-up play, protects his flank and contributes through disciplined defensive work.
