Marián Tvrdoň
Marián Tvrdoň is a Slovak goalkeeper born on 18 August 1994. Standing 1.94 metres tall, he developed in the youth systems of FC Nitra and Zlaté Moravce before continuing his career in the Czech Republic. Tvrdoň joined FK Ústí nad Labem in 2014 and also gained experience during loan spells, including a period with Sokol Brozany. His progress was recognised in 2020–21, when he was named Goalkeeper of the Season in the Czech National Football League. In July 2021, Tvrdoň moved to Viktoria Plzeň, adding depth to the club’s goalkeeping group. He made a Champions League group-stage start against Bayern Munich on 4 October 2022. Tvrdoň remains linked with Plzeň, where his height and experience support the squad’s options in goal.
