Marin Tomasov

Marin Tomasov is a Croatian midfielder from Zadar, born on 31 August 1987. He developed in Croatian football before building his reputation as an attacking player capable of operating from wide areas. At HNK Rijeka, he was named Prva HNL Player of the Year in 2015/16 after recording 12 assists and eight goals. In 2017, Tomasov moved to FC Astana, initially on loan, and established himself in Kazakhstan. With Astana, he collected league and Super Cup honours and became a prominent attacking figure in the club’s domestic success. His career also included a standout 2019 campaign, when he finished as the league’s top scorer and scored four goals against Aktobe, while continuing to contribute as a wide midfielder and chance creator.
