Mark Španring

Mark Španring is a Slovenian defender who primarily plays at right-back. Born in Novo mesto on 13 June 2001, he began his recorded senior career with Krško, making his debut during the 2018/19 season. In July 2019, Španring joined Bravo, where he developed into a regular first-team defender over six seasons. At Bravo, he was used mainly on the right but also covered left-back and centre-back, demonstrating positional versatility. His performances brought involvement with the Slovenia under-21 team, for which he made 10 appearances and scored once. After leaving Bravo in 2025, Španring moved to Maribor and continued his career at one of Slovenia’s leading clubs. He appeared for Maribor in UEFA Conference League qualifying against Paksi SE in July 2025, adding European experience to his domestic career.
