Mateusz Skrzypczak

Mateusz Skrzypczak is a Polish defender born in Poznań on 22 August 2000. He developed at Lech Poznań, initially featuring as a defensive midfielder before progressing into the back line. To gain senior experience, Skrzypczak spent time on loan with Puszcza Niepołomice and Stomil Olsztyn. He returned to Lech and was part of the squad that won the 2021–22 Ekstraklasa title. In 2022, he moved to Jagiellonia Białystok, where he established himself as a regular defender and helped the club win its first Ekstraklasa championship in 2023–24. Skrzypczak was named Ekstraklasa Defender of the Season for 2024–25 and made his Poland debut in a 2–0 victory over Moldova on 6 June 2025. He subsequently returned to Lech Poznań, continuing his career at the club where his development began.
