Maksim Shvetsov

Maksim Shvetsov is a Belarusian centre-back born in Minsk on 2 April 1998. He developed in the Dinamo Minsk academy after joining in 2013 and progressed into the club’s senior side, making his debut in 2015. Shvetsov spent the following years establishing himself in Dinamo’s defence, accumulating more than 150 league appearances between 2015 and 2024. His game combines central defensive positioning with physical duels, positional awareness and an ability to begin attacks from the back. He also represented Belarus through the under-17, under-19 and under-21 levels before making his senior debut against Uzbekistan in 2020. In July 2024, Shvetsov moved to Rotor Volgograd in Russia’s First League, where he made 32 appearances. He returned to Dinamo Minsk in January 2026, bringing further experience to the club’s defensive group.
